 Issues in Registering PiXORD ActiveX

Why I can’t register the PIXORD ActiveX ?
  1. You don’t have the permission to install the ActiveX component in Windows 2000/XP operation system. Please login with administrator group.
  2. The Internet Security level of your system is too high. To change the security level, please follow the below steps.
Change the browser security level
  1. When browsing the Home Page at the first time with the Microsoft Internet Explorer, you must temporarily lower your security settings to perform a one-time-only installation of PIXORD’s ActiveX component onto your workstation, as described below.
  2. For detailed description, please see User’s Manual on 3.6. Verify and Complete the Installation from Your Browser

  1. select Internet Options from the Tools menu.
  2. Click the Security tab and make note of your current security settings
  3. Set the security level to Low and click OK
  4. Type the Internet Address or Host Name of your PIXORD NVS into the Address field
  5. A dialog asking if you want to install servp14.cab or wcp10.cab will appear. Click yes to start the installation
  6. Once the ActiveX installation is complete, return the security settings to their original value, as noted above
Check the Installed PIXORD component in your system
  1. Go to the system folder and open the Downloaded Program Files. For example, “C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files”
  2. In here, if you will find the following components in this directory, it means you have install the PIXORD streaming components.
Register ActiveX component Manually
  1. if you failed to install the ActiveX listed as below automatically from browser, you can run the “regsvr32” command to install them manually.
  2. “ServerPushBox” : it’s for streaming video. The windows DLL file is named as pixord.dll (which compressed in servp14.cab).
  3. “WebCameraPlugin class” : it’s for streaming voice. The windows DLL file is named as webcamplugin.dll (which compressed inwcp10.cab).
Register ActiveX component Manually
  1. To know how to use the regsvr32, you can run “regsvr32/?” to get a usage.


  2. According to usage, just run “regsvr32 pixord.dll” to install a pixord.dll. And you’ll see the following message for registering successfully.
