Concept of language translation
After ftp the html files (web pages), remember follow the “Appendix Update custom web pages” in the User’s Manual to complete the web page update.
Converter Usage It's a program run on your PC. So the Java VM should be install in your PC. You can go to the URL http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.1/download.html and download the J2SE v1.4.1_03 JRE according to your OS platform.
The purpose of this tool is to translate the html source files providing by PIXORD Co. to the html object files according to the giving user-defined language table (i.e. .ini file). The most import thing is every firmware version has its corresponding source html files and ini file. Before you begin to translate, you should check the consistency.
After completing the translation, you'll get html files. These are normal html files for Browsers to understand and display. The last step is just ftp these files to the Video Server and re-enter the web site of the Video Server. You'll see the effect that you've done in the ini file. If no error found, you can Update the Web pages follow the instructions in User's Manual. The web pages would be changed permanently.
Notes in translation To edit the pixord.ini, please use a text editor which support UTF-8 file format, since the pixord.ini is made in UTF-8 format for universal language. Please don’t change the file format, or you will failed to read the content.
When using notepad.exe to edit the pixord.ini, be sure to remember to disable the auto line feed function for better reading and avoiding translation error.
