The camera offers wired connection to the network (P606 model) and optional wireless IEEE 802.11g (P606W model) for flexible installation. H.264 compression technology The P606 uses the cutting edge of H.264 AVC (High Profile) encoding technology and provides H.264 and Motion JPEG multiple streams simultaneously. H.264-AVC video compression can lower bandwidth and storage requirements without compromising image quality; Motion JPEG is supported for increased flexibility, as well as multiple independent video streaming.
Two Megapixel Resolution Compared to conventional VGA cameras having a 640 x 480 pixel resolution, P606 two megapixel network camera achieves a resolution approximately 6 times that of a conventional camera. In addition, image captures of detailed parts are clear when these images are enlarged.
Valued features The P606 sets 7 IR LEDs for illuminating the scene automatically or when requested by the user. Each time P606(W) network camera detects an event, you can have an auto-tweet sent out and if you've setup your system to automatically upload the video to your YouTube account, that link will be auto embedded. In addition to capturing all motion events, a record summary of your day events can be automatically generated. You can embed it anywhere and even add an audio soundtrack if you'd like on YouTube.
