PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS


 
Front Panel & Rear Panel


  • Reset Button: Removes all user settings, and with the exception of network settings, returns all other settings to the factory defaults.
  • Power/Status LED:
    Power on: constant red
  • Network LED:
    Network link (connected): constant green
    Network 100Mbps activity: flashing red
  • DIP Switches:
    DIP Switch 1: 75[ impedance matching switch for external BNC video input. Switch to "on" position when peer-to-peer connected with Camera or other source. Set to "off" position when video source paralleled with other 75[ load (e.g. TV, VCR).
    DIP Switch 2: reserved
  • Video Out V BNC: Standard BNC connector for video signal output.
  • Video In V BNC: Standard BNC connector for video signal input.
  • Video In V S-video: Standard S-video connector for video signal input.
  • Audio In: Standard 3.5mm audio jack for microphones or other audio input.
  • COM 2: This port shares the same electrical signal path with the RS-485 port in the GPIO terminal block. When the RS-485 port is in use, COM 2 is disabled.
  • COM 1: For connecting to a system console (115200 baud).
  • GPIO Terminal Block: General Purpose Input Output terminal block supporting 1 photo-isolated input, and 1 relay output.
  • Ethernet: RJ-45 connector for connecting standard Category 5 (Cat5) twisted pair cables (Standard IEEE 802.3 10/100BaseT)
  • Power: 12V DC 1A power input.
